When the World Congress of International News Media was held in Berlin in May 2026, Hoflieferanten Berlin had the honour of providing the catering for the welcome reception in the colonnades next to the Neues Museum.
This occasion was special for us in several respects: firstly, the unique setting of Museum Island, which is celebrating its 200th anniversary this year. Secondly, the specific requirements that events at the State Museums entail. Precise logistics, sensitive historical buildings and coordination with the museum’s ongoing operations demand experience, care and a well-coordinated team.
For the international guests attending the congress, we created a reception that combined lightness and elegance. Accompanied by live jazz, we served selected dishes via flying service and served matching drinks at the bar. The culinary concept focused on a balanced mix of regional produce, international influences and uncomplicated enjoyment – light, high-quality and yet satisfying.
The combination of culture, history and contemporary themes made this evening a special experience. The consistently positive feedback from guests validated our concept and ensured a successful start to the subsequent congress.
