For us, sustainability is not a trend, but the basis of our actions.
As a caterer working with food – genuine natural products – appreciation for origin, production and resources is a matter of course for us.
We are therefore all the more proud that Hoflieferanten Berlin and AXICA have been certified according to the internationally recognised ISO 20121 standard for sustainable event management since September 2025.
With this independent and voluntary certificate, we can credibly and objectively demonstrate how seriously we take sustainability as a caterer.
Our sustainability manager Alexandra Beck sums it up aptly: ‘We are delighted to receive this award for our achievements – and are equally committed to becoming even more sustainable.’
What sustainability means in concrete terms at Hoflieferanten Berlin:
• Consistently plant-based cuisine
• Long-standing partnerships with selected producers, e.g. Biohof Watzkendorf
• Offsetting our carbon footprint
• Our own water treatment plant to conserve resources
• Processing freshwater fish instead of endangered saltwater species
• Dairy products from German or European production
In short:
globally inspired cuisine – implemented responsibly on a regional and seasonal basis, which naturally tastes good.
