The Bundesverband Informationswirtschaft, Telekommunikation und neue Medien e.V. – Bitkom for short – celebrated its summer party on June 21, 2022 in beautiful sunshine at and around Hamburger Bahnhof.
The 1,400 guests from member companies, politics, the press and society enjoyed the open-air reception with gazpacho, grilled eggplant, romaine lettuce and our refreshing welcome cocktail “Tach ooch” with rhubarb liqueur from Freimeisterkollektiv, vanilla, rhubarb and soda. As a non-alcoholic version, we served “Santino” with pineapple, cucumber, Thomas Henry Spicy Ginger and Sanbitter.
The welcoming speeches were followed by delicacies such as two kinds of asparagus with new potatoes, 18-hour cooked (butter-tender) beef breast with sweet potato puree and deep-fried corn, sesame chicken with tandoori cauliflower and curry sauce and so on and so forth …
The desserts were as refreshing as the drinks, with freshly sliced watermelon, berry salad with mint, raspberry tartlets and chocolate and olive mousse with pomegranate. Vegetarian and vegan options were of course available for all courses.
