Special atmosphere at Orangery | Castle Charlottenburg

In early May, we had the pleasure of providing the catering for several events in Berlin for an international client. One of these special events took us to the Orangery at Charlottenburg Palace – a venue we hold in high regard for many reasons.

Its proximity to the Messe Berlin makes it just as attractive for international groups and incentive events as its easy accessibility from Berlin city centre. Above all, however, it offers a setting that lends a special prestige to any occasion.

Situated in the heart of the palace grounds, the Orangery combines historic architecture with a pleasant air of lightness. Large windows and doors open up views of the greenery – creating an atmosphere that immediately captivates guests, particularly in spring and summer.

Particularly with listed venues that have specific logistical requirements, it is worth relying on an experienced catering partner who is already familiar with the on-site processes and conditions. Hoflieferanten Berlin knows the Orangerie very well from a variety of events.

For around 260 guests from South America, we developed a menu that draws on Berlin cuisine whilst also catering to international tastes. Traditional classics were given a modern twist – from Königsberger meatball lollipops to perch fillet with horseradish foam. A cuisine that feels familiar yet piques the curiosity.

We would like to thank everyone involved – from the agency and the client to our own team and our partners. Projects like this show just how much can be achieved when good planning, special venues and dedicated people come together.
